The partnership between Liberty Senior Living and the NASM/AFAA organization is an indicator of Liberty being viewed as a leader in the senior fitness industry. This partnership provides more opportunities for current staff to obtain higher quality training as well as retention in employees through continuing education opportunities including conferences. In turn, this provides our communities’ residents with more extensive programming possibilities. The NASM Senior Fitness Specialization is provided to all INSPIRE interns at our various communities to establish continuity and a basic understanding of working with the older adult population within the fitness realm. This partnership will draw more determined interns with the intent on carrying out a career in the fitness world.
One of the unique features of Pisgah Valley Retirement Community is its focus on individualized lifestyle. Our philosophy honors the uniqueness of each individual and the varying lifestyle choices of our residents. No cookie-cutter living for Pisgah Valley.
As a reflection of this philosophy, Pisgah Valley Retirement Community does NOT have a required meal plan. Individuals and couples often enjoy their own cooking and recipes; many people enjoy eating out or dining with friends. The lovely open floor plans of the patio homes encourage dining in or entertaining. Best of all, you are not paying for a meal you are not eating when cooking for yourself, entertaining, or dining out. Flexibility and individuality are key to life at our senior living community near Asheville, NC.

We also provide transportation for a shopping trip to Asheville every week, plus so much more.
All of these opportunities compliment the wellness program to stimulate the other dimensions of wellness such as emotional, social, and spiritual health so that you enjoy a true and full sense of multi-dimensional wellbeing.
