Over the years Pisgah Valley Wellness Center has been an established part of our local community. Serving the physical and social needs of many residents and members over the years. It is more than just a gym, it is a gem. The wellness center sits within a picturesque landscape surrounded by farmland, rolling hills, and greenery. As you travel down the road, just around the curve, it sets high on the bank like a hidden gem.
Our Heated Indoor Therapy Pool and Spa
Our heated therapy pool is a feature that sets us apart from other area gyms. The warm water provides relief for those suffering from osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and other chronic pain issues. It is also a great place for post rehab patients to continue to progress after they have been cleared for exercise. The natural buoyancy of the water makes exercise accessible for all fitness levels. You will notice with just five minutes of water walking your muscles will feel healthier. Our spa is an added benefit. Enjoy a massage from our spa jets as you take in nature’s beauty all around you. Make sure to get a hot soak on a snowy day. You will feel as if you are in a snow globe, as the snowflakes fall outside the panoramic glass windows.
Dry Sauna
When you finish exercising or maybe lounging in the pool, dry off in our sauna. The low light, smell of cedar, and expansive heat creates a relaxing experience that warms you to the bone.
User Friendly Strength and Cardio Equipment
Our strength machines are specifically designed for ages 55 and up. They are easily adjusted and accessible. Pick a treadmill, bike, Nu-Step, or elliptical for your cardiovascular needs. Our supportive staff is always on sight to set you up for success on your first day and every day after.
Sparkle
We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our Wellness Center. The chrome sparkles, the windows shine, and our residents and members appreciate it! You will find us cleaning the facility top to bottom every day. This clean presentation creates a spa experience you’ll enjoy to the fullest.
Friends Become Family
Socialization is a key part of wellness and our community members go above and beyond. They make friends for life. Friendships are strengthened here at the gym but you can also find our members connecting outside of the gym as well. They meet for table games, going to the movies, shopping, eating out, and volunteering together. Pisgah Wellness Center is your home away from home.
