
Pisgah Valley Retirement Wellness Center Membership
Research has shown that physical health is a key component of aging gracefully. Pisgah Valley Retirement Community supports that hypothesis as it offers an exercise and wellness program to residents of Pisgah Valley Retirement free-of-charge and to residents within the local area for a nominal fee.

Our specially-trained instructors offer both land and water classes which include:
- Water aerobics
- Low-Impact water exercise
- Balance and fitness classes
- Stretch classes
- Tai Chi
- Ageless Grace
- Line dancing

All classes are structured for seniors in order to keep you at your optimal best. Some exercises support physical strength and health, while others, such as balance classes, are geared towards keeping you strong and safe from falls. Line dancing is not only good cardio activity, it is also a fun way to stimulate your brain and memory. Staying fit does not have to be boring; our classes can be productive and engaging. And, it’s always easier to exercise with a friend. Join us!
Membership options:
All memberships require a one-time registration fee of $25. There are three alternative ways to join.
One year annual rate: $594
Six-month rage: $330
Monthly rate (requires one full-year contract): $55 per month
Guests are welcome to join us for a class. A daily guest pass with accompaniment by a member is $5 and a guest without a member is $10.

DIRECTIONS:
Pisgah Valley Retirement Community is located eight miles west of Asheville, just off interstate 40. Take exit 44 off I-40. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and then again, right onto Acton Circle (next to McDonald’s). Go to the stop sign and turn right onto Monte Vista Road. Travel 2 miles to a fork and bear right onto Holcome Cove Road to Pisgah Valley. The Wellness Center is in the buildings to your right, opposite the residential homes.
